What fabric would work best to create a pageant sash?
Well, for a birthday party, we’re doing a Miss USA- themed party… the sashes online are too expensive to buy for ten+ girls, so I decided to buy and cut my own fabric to make a sash and have the girls use fabric paint to write their names on it… what fabric would work best? If possible, include a website! (:
and please make sure that fabric paint (like the type you squeeze out of a little bottle, not a spray) would work on this fabric

Have you tried sassysash.com yet? The sites you have seen are probably so expensive because they are embroidered, while sassysash.com isn’t. Their sashes are pretty cheap at around $10 each and you can even add on some fun things like glow-in-the-dark lettering and glitter. But otherwise, the video link above should be helpful.
