Fabric Questions
What kinds of fabric work best for photography backdrops?
Right now I’m using a bunch of old black sheets, and my pictures turn out nice. But sheets are expensive to buy so I need to know what kinds of fabric work best, and also what kinds of fabric would anyone recommend for different seasons? Any other suggestions about props etc, that would help too! Thanks in advance!
I agree with fhotoace to a degree his prices are about right for most areas, but as far as sheets being expensive? I was getting the T-shirt material King Size sheet sets for 20 dollars… comes in black, white, gray, blue and red at Target. Don’t know if you have one in your area though. With this set I got flat sheet, fitted sheet and 2 pillow cases. Flat was perfect for backdrops, and the fitted along with the pillow cases did great for covering props etc. I also found the same material sheet set at another store for 25 dollars and use it for green screen shoot.
