How do I glue fabric around a glass vase?
I would like to wrap my cube vases with a beautiful fabric that I found at Joann fabrics. What type of glue should I use so the fabric will stick to the vase but not bleed through the material. This will be for my wedding centerpieces and I do not want it to look cheesy.
My adhesive of choice is “3M 77 adhesive”. You spray it on the vase and in about 5 seconds, it’s tacky enough to hold the fabric. It won’t bleed through and the fabric is re-positionable until you press it down hard. Even then, if you make a terrible mess, you can use mineral spirits or turpentine to remove the fabric. Of course if you intend to reuse the fabric you will have to wash and dry it first. The adhesive is expensive, but well worth it. Good luck…
